We make sound for other people's work too.

We love sound, and we love working on it with other people. We are Andreea and Mauricio, two sound makers in Berlin, and you can work with us together or separately. Here is how we can help: sound design, game audio, spatial sound for VR and AR, recording, podcasts and music.

press a number · each one is a small sketch, made live by this page

press 01 · a door that does not exist

Sound design.

Sounds made for one picture, one object or one moment. Foley, atmospheres, interface sounds, and the sound of a thing that does not exist yet.

film · installation · product · web

press 02, then move left and right · the floor changes

Game audio.

We design the sounds for a game and then do the part that is often left over: putting them into the engine, so they answer what the player does. We work in Unity and Wwise.

press 03 · headphones on · it walks around you

Spatial sound for VR and AR.

Sound that stays where it is when you turn your head. We mix in Ambisonics and Dolby Atmos, and integrate the audio for headsets and for rooms with many speakers.

press 04 · a noisy recording, then the same one cleaned

Recording and restoration.

Voices, instruments, rooms and places, in a studio or where the sound lives. Afterwards we edit, clean and restore, including recordings somebody else made in a hurry.

voice · music · field recording · restoration

press 05 · four seconds of intro

Podcast editing and intros.

Editing and mixing, so a voice sounds like the person it belongs to. And the few seconds that make a show recognisable: the intro, the outro, the small sounds in between.

edit · mix · intro and outro

press 06 · one voice, then four

Music and arrangements.

Arrangements for voices and instruments, original music, production. Between us we sing and play flutes, bagpipe, guitar, bouzouki and percussion.

arrangement · composition · production

press 07 · the house tone, made this second

Interactive sound for the web.

Sound that is made live on a web page and answers the visitor, with no file to load. Everything you pressed on this page is made this way, and so are the playground and inbetween silence.

Where are you?

In Berlin. We work in English, German and Portuguese.

How does a project start, and what does it cost?

Write to us at contact@andreeacristina.com and tell us what you are making. We ask a question or two, then send a price and a date. Every project gets its own quote.

how it starts

We bring ideas without being asked, and we enjoy the work. When something does not work, we look for the way that does.
